Popular influencer and social media sensation Elvish Yadav is once again in the spotlight, this time again for all the wrong reasons. He is facing severe backlash after making degrading comments about former Bigg Boss 18 contestant Chum Darang during a podcast with Rajat Dalal.
Elvish Yadav Comments On Chum Darang
In the recent episode of his podcast (phodcast), Elvish and Rajat discussed various topics, including Bigg Boss 18, Rajat’s personal life, and more. However, a particular clip from the podcast has gone viral, showing Elvish making offensive remarks about Chum Darang.
In the video, Elvish can be heard saying, “Karanveer ko pakka COVID tha kyunki Chum kisko pasand aati hai bhai, itna taste kiska kharab hota hai! Aur Chum ke toh naam mein hi ashleelta hai… Naam Chum aur kaam Gangubai Kathiawadi mein kiya hai.”
Rajat Dalal, who was present during the conversation, seen to enjoy the remarks, further adding to the controversy.
The controversy comes just weeks after the finale of Bigg Boss 18, where Karan Veer Mehra emerged as the winner. Interestingly, Karan Veer Mehra himself had appeared on Elvish’s podcast earlier, where he shared inside stories from the Bigg Boss house, creating quite a buzz.

As the video continues to circulate, Elvish Yadav is receiving widespread criticism from netizens. Social media users have called out his remarks as disrespectful and below the belt. One user commented, “And they want only their family to be respected.” Another wrote, “Once a chapri, always a chapri. Once a dalla, always a dalla.” “Upbringing and education matters ..! Shame on their filthy upbringing”, reads the other comment.
