The 50-year-old actress continued, “It’s sad because I wanted to break free from the cycles of life and death, only to realize how life and attachment are connected. Am I ready to let go of my family, my children, and the people I love? No, I’m not!”
Talking about her spiritual experience at the Maha Kumbh, Preity said, “It’s very moving and humbling to realize that the bonds of attachment are so strong. No matter what we are attached to, in the end, our spiritual journey is something we must walk alone.”
Wrapping up, the Kal Ho Naa Ho actress shared, “I left with the feeling that we are not humans having a spiritual experience, but spiritual beings having a human experience. I don’t know what lies beyond this, but I’m sure my curiosity will lead me to the answers I’m searching for… until then…”
