Amid the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, both the countries have officially agreed to a full ceasefire. This decision has been welcomed by Indian citizens including several celebrities. Raveena Tandon is one of the first Bollywood celebrity to react to this latest development between India and Pakistan.
Raveena wrote in this post, “If this is true, then it’s a welcome decision. #ceasefire. But make no mistake, the day India bleeds again #statesponsoredterrorism it will be an act of war and then there will be hell to pay. The #IMF had better keep Track of where their money goes, the big powers may have sanctioned this loans to get thier earlier loans paid back or so that there is more ammunition bought or whatever. But now AND never should Bharat Bleed Again.”

After announcing the ceasefire, the defence ministry on Friday briefed the media. Commodore Raghu R Nair said, “There has been understanding that has been reached to stop all military activities at sea, on the air and on land. Indian army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Forces have been instructed to adhere to this understanding.”
Meanwhile, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi said, “Pakistan claimed that it damaged our S400 and Brahmos missile base with its JF 17, which is completely wrong. Secondly, it also ran a misinformation campaign that our airfields in Sirsa, Jammu, Pathankot, Bhatinda, Nalia and Bhuj were damaged, and its misinformation is also completely wrong. Thirdly, according to Pakistan’s misinformation campaign, our ammunition depot in Chandigarh and Vyas was damaged, which is also completely wrong. Pakistan made false allegations that Indian Army damaged mosques. I want to make it very clear that India is a secular nation and our army is a very beautiful reflection of the constitutional value of India.”
