Social media personalities Ranveer Allahbadia, widely known as BeerBiceps and Apoorva Mukhija aka the rebel kid, appeared before the National Commission for Women (NCW) to address the derogatory remarks made on comedian Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent.
Along with Ranveer and Apoorva, producers of the show, Saurabh Bothra and Tushar Poojari, as well as the lawyers who are representing Jaspreet Singh and renowned YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, were also summoned by the commission.

The India’s Got Latent Obscenity Row
The controversy surrounding India’s Got Latent escalated after Maharashtra’s cyber police registered an FIR against Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and other participants for allegedly broadcasting obscene content. This is the second FIR filed against the duo, following a similar case by Assam police on February 10, 2025.
