After the grand success of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol returned to the theatres with another mass commerical film ‘Jaat’. The movie had created massive hype as Sunny Deol was seen in an action role again and also received good response. The film has also been able to holds itself self strong in theatres but has now slowed down after the release of Kesari Chapter 2.
Jaat Box Office Collection Day 9:
Jaat, according to the website Sacnilk, collected Rs 4.25 crore on day 9 as per early estimates. The movie has earned Rs 65.90 crore in total.
After receiving good response from the audience for Jaat, the makers and Sunny Deol officially announced its sequel. Not much has been revealed about Jaat 2 as of now. Announcing the movie, Sunny Deol wrote, “#Jaat on to a New Mission! #Jaat2.”

The movie also stars Regina Cassandra, Randeep Hooda, Ayesha Khan, Saiyami Kher, Zarina Wahab, Bandhavi Sridhar, Vishika Kota, Praneeta Patnaik, Doulath Sulthana, Vineet Kumar Singh, Ajay Ghosh, Dayanand Shetty, Jagapati Babu and Babloo Prithiveeraj.
In an exclusive interview with News24, actor Prashant Bajaj praised Sunny Deol, Vineet Kumar Singh and the cast and crew of Jaat.
Expressing his gratitude on working in Jaat and sharing his experience, Prashant told us, “It’s always been a pleasure to work with such a wonderful cast. And I always believe that whatever work you get, it’s all because of destiny. It’s an amazing experience. Of course, I’ve learned a lot of things, and I worked with one of India’s biggest action actors Sunny Deol sir. And, obviously, the best of the action director, Anal Arasu, Peter Hein, Naga Venkat and Ram-Lakshman. Everyone is wonderful and especially the director, Gopichand Malineni.”
While recalling his experience of working with Sunny Deol, he revealed that the Gadar star helped him in one of the action sequences. He recalls how the director asked Sunny Deol to hold him tightly but the Jaat star was worried about hurting him. He recalls, “He was not holding me tightly because he was worried that I would get hurt.”
