Mohanlal’s much anticipated film, L2: Empuraan finally hit the big screens on 27th March, 2025 setting an unimaginable record on its opening day. Even though, the Prithviraj Sukumaran directed mass entertainer has received lot of love from the audience it has been surrounded by some controversies lately and amid the ongoing controversy, the Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) has voiced its support for lead actors Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The organisation has recently issued a statement regarding the personal attacks being made against the actors.
What Did FEFKA Say?
In its statement, FEFKA emphasised that healthy criticism of a film’s form and content is welcomed but it should remain within the bounds of respect. FEFKA stated, “We welcome criticism of the film’s form and content without any compromises. Only through constructive criticism can an art form truly evolve. However, we firmly believe that criticism should not descend into personal attacks, threats, or branding, regardless of political or religious affiliations.”

About L2: Empuraan
The movie is the second installment of the film Lucifer which was released in the year 2019. L2: Empuraan explores themes of political drama with high stakes action.
