Legendary actor Manoj Kumar mostly known as ‘Bharat Kumar’ is laid to rest with full state honours on Saturday (5 April). A video from the cremation ground has been surfaced capturing emotional moments from the final ceremony.
His elder son, Kunal Goswami lit the funeral pyre. Manoj Kumar had two sons – Kunal and Vishal and both were present to perform the all the crematory rituals. A video from the funeral has now emerged, showing Kunal lighting the pyre, surrounded by close family and loved ones.
Ahead of cremation, Manoj Kumar was honoured with a 21-gun salute a gesture of respect for the national icons. The funeral was held with complete state honours.
The last video of the late actor has been gaining attention and is gaining views online. Although not everyone could attend the funeral in person but many big Bollywood stars tried to be there with the legendary icon’s family on his last rites. Many fans are using this video to be part of his final journey.
