Fahadh Faasil, a popular name in the South Indian cinema, is currently gearing up for the release of his action-drama ‘Pushpa 2’. As per the latest buzz, he is all set to make his Bollywood debut soon and will work with filmmaker Imtiaz Ali. This project is said to be an unconventional love story.
According to a report by Peepingmoon.com, Fahadh Faasil will work with Imtiaz Ali in the first quarter of 2025. A source was quoted as saying, “Fahadh Faasil will make his Bollywood debut with this film, and he’s extremely excited to begin his journey in Hindi cinema with Imtiaz Ali, who is one of his favorite Bollywood directors. They’ve been discussing this project for months, and it was recently finalized contractually. Triptii’s pairing with him adds an exciting and unique dimension to this collaboration. Imtiaz is known for pushing boundaries in love stories, and this one promises to stand out in his repertoire.”
Triptii Dimri will reportedly be cast opposite Fahadh Faasil in this project.
On the work front, Fahadh Faasil will be seen in ‘Pushpa 2’, which is scheduled to release in theatres on December 5, 2024. The actor has been absent from the promotions, whereas, Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna have been travelling across the country to promote the film.
Meanwhile, Imtiaz Ali last directed ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, starring Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra. The movie is streaming on Netflix. Triptii Dimri was last seen in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ with Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit. The movie became a massive blockbuster at the box office.
