An unfortunate incident took place on the set of Tollywood actor Ram Charan’s upcoming production ‘The India House’ as a water tank burst injuring many crew members, including an assistant cinematographer.
It took place in the outskirts of Hyderabad, at Shamshabad, when they were shooting an water based sequence. The huge water tank which was supposed to generate effects of the ocean, ruptured. This made thousands of litres of water pour on the set. The strong rush of water knocked over several crew members and damaged expensive camera and lighting equipment.
A video from the set has gone viral, showing crew members trying to walk through waist deep water and save the equipment.

The injured crew members were rushed to a hospital and are currently under observation. While the exact number of injuries is yet to be confirmed, reports suggest multiple members were affected.
The shooting has been put on hold. The team is investigating how the accident happened and whether safety rules were followed.
Meanwhile, The India House is an anticipating period drama featuring Nikhil Siddhartha, Saiee Manjrekar, and Anupam Kher. Ram Vamsi Krishna is the director of the film which is produced by the production house of Ram Charan, Vikram Reddy and Abhishek Agrawal.
