After months of speculation and curiosity, the first look of Nitesh Tiwari’s much awaited film Ramayan is now out. The grand project stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Mata Sita and Yash as Raavan. The film promises a cinematic experience of a unique and massive scale.
The teaser opens with captivating visuals of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, setting the backdrop of an epic battle. It is being described as the “the war to end all wars”. In the first look, Ranbir Kapoor presents a calm and divine image as Lord Rama, while Yash is seen with tremendous anger and power as Ravana.
The teaser has enthralled the audience with its stunning visual effects, cinematography and emotional music. The teaser captures Ranbir firing arrows with grace and intensity, while Yash’s Ravana appears ready to unleash chaos.

Sharing the first glimpse on Instagram, Namit Malhotra wrote, “Ten years of Aspiration. Relentless Conviction to bring the Greatest Epic of all time to the World. The film also boasts a star studded ensemble, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, Ravi Dubey as Laxman, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanakha, and Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari. Their looks are still under wraps.
Ramayana will be released in two parts, the first on Diwali 2026 and the second in Diwali 2027.
