Ramayana: Yash Films Massive Action Sequence With ‘Mad Max Fury Road’ Action Director Guy Norris; First Look From Set Out

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash and Sunny Deol in the lead roles.

Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial ‘Ramayana’ has become one of the most anticipated spectacles in Indian cinema, and the excitement around it has only grown stronger as actor-producer Yash begins filming for the magnum opus. Produced by visionary producer Namit Malhotra, the movie will feature Rocking Star Yash as Ravana. The actor will bring the character to life in a larger-than-life action arc, working closely with legendary Hollywood stunt director Guy Norris — celebrated for Mad Max: Fury Road and The Suicide Squad.

Norris is currently in India choreographing elaborate, high-octane action sequences tailored for the scale of Ramayana, with Yash’s character at the center of the storm. Known for his close involvement across all aspects of his projects, Yash is actively collaborating with the team to shape a visual spectacle that pushes the limits of Indian action cinema. He is slated to shoot for 60–70 days for Ramayana Part 1.

Recent images from the set reveal Yash in peak physical form — ripped, intense, and battle-ready. His transformation hints at a fierce, reimagined Ravana and a performance that could redefine how Indian action heroes are viewed globally.
