Rihanna is set to make a comeback as she is creating anticipation among the fans by dropping clues about her long awaited ninth album. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the pop star hinted about what’s coming that will pass everyone’s expectations.
After an eight year hiatus since her last album release, she dropped the clues by describing the upcoming album as “ Something that feels right, It feels like it digs right into where I need to be, and I want this. This body needs to come out and I’m ready to go there.” This has fueled immense excitement and speculations among her fans.
The vocalist who is now a mother to two kids RZA and Riot with Rapper A$AP Rocky shared how becoming a mom has influenced her process. She further elaborated “This is becoming my new freedom. Because when I’m in the studio, and away from my kids, I feel it is the time to blossom something that hasn’t been watered in eight years and has been on hold.”

The pop star also mentioned that she has been spending time in the studio for over eight years but admitted that it took a while to discover the sound, for her music journey. “But it didn’t hit me. I was searching for it. I went through phases of what I wanted to do. ‘This kind of album, not that album.’
She also hinted that the upcoming album won’t just focus on reggae music and further explained that her new project goes beyond the genre labels and boundaries, in music industry norms. “It’s going to be where my artistry deserves to be right now. I feel like I’ve cracked it Girl!”
