New Delhi: ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ is all set to release in a few weeks but before that, the makers have dropped the second song on Wednesday. Merely in a couple of hours, the song has received 387K views already.
Titled “What Jhumka“, the dance number is out now with the lead stars of the film, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh swaying everyone’s mood.
For a change, the makers did not recreate or remix the old classic completely. In a dedicated part of the song, ‘Rocky’ and ‘Rani’ were seen grooving on the tune of iconic song of “Jhumka Gira Re” by living legend Asha Bhosle.
Although the song has the old classic’s melody, Alia and Ranveer dance on the original song’s chorus in rest of the part.
Sharing the music video of “What Jhumka”, the makers wrote, “Get ready to hit the dance floor with ‘ What Jhumka’! Arijit Singh and Jonita Gandhi’s enchanting voices will make your heart skip a beat. Let the rhythm take over and embrace the vibrant energy of this scintillating dance anthem!”
Ranveer as Rocky was seen wearing a denim jacket having star print in orange color, pairing it up with pants and a white vest, while Alia’s ‘Rani’ opted for a colorful saree.

‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ is an upcoming Indian language romantic comedy family drama film directed by Karan Johar and written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy.
Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios have produced the film together. The film also starred Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi along with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
