Saif Ali Khan’s Heartfelt Gesture: Actor Meets Auto Driver Who Saved His Life; Pictures Go Viral

Saif Ali Khan was attacked on January 16 at his home by an intruder. He sustained six stab wounds and was admitted to Lilavati Hospital.

Saif Ali Khan Stabbing Case: Saif Ali Khan was discharged from the hospital after he was stabbed by an intruder. The actor finally met the auto rickshaw driver Bhajan Singh Rana, who took him to the hospital after he was stabbed. According to IANS, Bhajan also met Saif’s mother and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore. Saif’s photos with Bhajan have been going viral on social media.

In the pictures, Saif can be seen happily posing with Bhajan Singh in his hospital room. IANS further reported that Saif and Sharmila Tagore thanked Bhajan for his help and encouraged him to keep helping others. The ‘Omkara’ actor reportedly assured him that the unpaid fare would be provided and offered his assistance if needed.

Bhajan Singh had reportedly been awarded Rs 11,000 for his act by a social worker named Faizan Ansari.

Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan has decided to heighten the security of his house after the horrifying incident and has employed actor Ronit Roy’s security firm. Ronit Roy was also clicked outside Saif Ali Khan’s house after he got discharged. While speaking to Hindustan Times, Ronit revealed that Saif Ali Khan is doing fine now. He said, “We are already here with Saif. He is doing fine now, and has come back.”

He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital. While talking about Saif’s health, Dr Nitin Dange, Chief Neurosurgeon at Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai, told the media, “Saif Ali Khan is better now. We made him walk, and he walked well. Looking at his parameters, his wounds and all the other injuries, he is safe to be shifted out of the ICU. He has to take several precautions. He has to take rest and his movement has been restricted for a week.”

Mumbai Police on Sunday morning arrested Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad in connection with the case. According to Zone 9 DCP Dixit Gedam, Shariful Islam Shehzad is a 31-year-old Bangladeshi National who entered India with a fake name – ‘Vijay Das’.
