Actor Kareena Kapoor recorded her statement with Bandra Police regarding the stabbing attack on her husband, Saif Ali Khan, at their Bandra residence in the early hours of Thursday. According to news agency ANI, police officers visited her residence on Friday evening to take her statement.
Police Investigation In Full Swing
The Mumbai Police have intensified their investigation, with over 30 statements recorded so far. Twenty police teams and ten Crime Branch teams have been assigned to the case. CCTV footage from the Bandra area has been seized, and three suspects are currently being questioned. However, no arrests have been made yet.
Earlier, several of Saif Ali Khan’s staff members were summoned to the Bandra Police Station for questioning but were later released.

Auto Driver Recounts Hospital Dash
The auto-rickshaw driver who transported Saif to Lilavati Hospital shared details of the incident with ANI. He revealed that he noticed a woman trying to hire a rickshaw near Saif’s residence at around 2-3 am. Hearing calls for help, he stopped his vehicle and witnessed Saif, covered in blood, emerging from the gate with a group.
“I saw a man bleeding from his neck and back being helped by 2-4 others. They asked me to take them to Lilavati Hospital, and I agreed. Later, I realized it was Saif Ali Khan,” the driver recounted.
The Attack On Saif
The shocking incident occurred when an intruder entered Saif’s 11th-floor Bandra flat. The altercation began after the intruder confronted the actor’s maid. When Saif intervened, the situation escalated, leaving him with stab wounds to his neck and back.
The police investigation remains ongoing, with efforts focused on identifying the attacker and understanding the motive behind the assault. The public and fans await updates as Saif Ali Khan continues to recover from his injuries.
