What Was The Video About?

Do you need a slap? Where is your dupatta? Bring a burqa… Make Sambhavna wear a burqa.” This conversation didn’t sit well with social media users, who slammed Sana for trying to impose her beliefs on Sambhavna.
Sambhavna Seth Reacts To The Controversy
After the issue gained traction, Sambhavna Seth responded to the controversy, clarifying her stance. She stated, “I am proud to be a Hindu, and no one can dictate what I wear.” In an open conversation with India Forums, the actress explained, “I wouldn’t wear shorts for a Ramadan podcast because I respect everyone’s sentiments. However, I am someone who makes my own choices. I respect all religions, but no one can force me to wear a burqa.”
Sambhavna Seth Defedns Sana Khan
During her statement, Sambhavna Seth explained, “The viral video captures a fun conversation between me and Sana. We have been friends for years, and she had invited me to her Ramadan special podcast episode. We were joking about how I have gained weight and how my clothes have become tight. That’s when, in a lighthearted manner, Sana mentioned bringing a dupatta for me.
I had no idea this would blow up into such a big issue, leading to her being trolled. If I knew it would cause so much negativity for my friend, I wouldn’t have posted the video in the first place.”
