Shenaz Khan, who began her career as a background dancer, is one such wonderful dancer. She has danced in many films with prominent actors over the last four decades. Today is Shenaz Khan’s 59th birthday. She has been a member of the Cine Dancers Association since 1977. She also belongs to the Dance Directors Association, which is now known as IFTCA. She is also a certified Assistant Dance Director.

Shenaz Khan began her cinematic career as a kid dancer in the song “Maine Kaha Phoolo Se” from the film Mili, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bhaduri. Mili, a love drama film directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, was released in 1975. In this way, Shenaz Khan has worked in the film industry for 48 years and, amazingly, continues to work as a background dancer.

Shenaz Khan previously worked with Rishi Kapoor in the film Bol Radha Bol and is currently working with his son. Yes, she appeared in the song “Show Me Your Thumka” from the film “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar” starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. In this way, she has collaborated with artists from two generations, which is a first.

Her most recent film was Sooraj Barjatya’s Unchai, in which she danced to the song “Keti Ko” alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Danny, Anupam Kher, and Boman Irani. Gopi Krishna, the great choreographer who had choreographed “Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya” and other songs from the film Mughal-e-Azam, handpicked Shenaz Khan.

She danced with Jitendra in the song “Mere Haathon Mein” from the film Jani Dushman, and with Jitendra and Shatrughan Sinha in the song “Zindagi Ka Naam Dosti” from the film Khudgharz. Danced in the movie Sharabi’s song “Mujhe Nau Lakkha Manga De Re” with Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Prada, and in the title song of Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja with Anil Kapoor and Sridevi.

Shenaz Khan appeared in the song “Jute Do Paise Lo” from Hum Aapke Hain Kaun alongside Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit. Madhuri Dixit’s superhit songs “Ek Do Teen”, “Chane Ke Khet”, and “Humko Aaj Kal Hai” showcased her art. She also appeared in the song “Yeh Kali Kali Aankhen” from Shahrukh Khan’s film Baazigar.
