Dipika Kakkar has been diagnosed with stage two liver cancer and fans are worried about her well-being. Her husband Shoaib has been keeping their fans updated about Dipika’s health and earlier revealed that her surgery will take place today. He also requested their fans to keep Dipika in their prayers ahead of her big surgery.
“Dippi’s surgery is scheduled to happen tomorrow morning. Its going to be a long surgery… she needs all your prayers & strength the most … please keep her in your prayers,” Shoaib wrote in his Instagram story.

In their earlier vlog, Shoaib shared, “Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, the scan report came out clear. The virus or its cells have not spread anywhere else in the body. Whatever is there is confined to the tumour, and once the tumour is surgically removed, Inshallah, things will get better. As of now, the doctors are saying everything looks under control, though ultimately, Allah knows best what the future holds.”
Dipika further added, “We are placing our complete trust in the doctors and drawing strength from their confidence. Of course, hearing this word—cancer—in anyone’s life is terrifying, both for the patient and their family. But we’re staying strong, keeping the faith, and hoping for the best.”
Earlier, talking about Dipika’s health after her diagnosis with tumour, Shoaib revealed, “Dipika theek nahi hai thoda sa usko stomach mein issue hai joh serious hai. When I was in Chandigarh, Dipika started having pain in her stomach and initially we thought it was due to acidity and she treated it thinking it is an acidity related issue. But when the pain did not go she consulted our family doctor who also treated our father.”
