New Delhi: The gruesome murder of a woman named Shraddha in Delhi’s Mehrauli sent shockwaves to the entire nation. The 27-year-old woman was killed by her live-in partner, who brutally chopped off her body parts into 35 pieces.
As the entire nation is condemning the heinous crime, Bollywood celebs also called out the Delhi murder case. Actress Swara Bhaskar took to her Twitter handle to condemn the act. Expressing her utter horror at the brutal murder, Swara demanded a swift investigation into the case, and for the harshest punishment to be meted out to the accused.
She tweeted, “NO WORDS for how horrifying, gruesome & tragic this case is. My heart goes out to this poor girl-awful betrayal by someone she loved & trusted. Hope police speedily conclude their investigation & hope this monster gets the harshest punishment he thoroughly deserves. (broken heart emoji).”

Meanwhile, the Delhi Police on Tuesday has taken Aftab Ameen Poonawalla, an accused in the Shraddha murder case to the jungle where he had disposed off the victims body parts.
As per the sources in the Delhi Police, a common friend of Aftab Poonawala and Shraddha Walker has been called for questioning. This is the friend who had intimated Shraddha’s father about her going incommunicado.
