Sunita Ahuja and Govinda were lately in the headlines regarding their divorce rumours but now Sunita Ahuja has finally addressed and clarified all the rumours about their marriage. During a recent conversation with zoom, she firmly dismissed all the claims of a divorce or an alleged extramarital affair, calling them ‘baseless’.
In the candid conversation, Sunita stated, “Jis din confirm hoga, ya mere aur Govinda ke mu se aap log sunoge, vo alag baat hai. (The day it’s confirmed, or if you hear it directly from me or Govinda, that will be a different matter.) But I don’t think so Govinda can live without me nor I can live without Govinda. And Govinda can never leave his family for any stupid person or stupid woman” putting an end to all the ongoing gossip regarding their relationship.
Sunita Ahuja On Rumours
Sunita also strongly criticised all those who were spreading the rumours. She said, “Afwaah, afwaah, afwaah, aap pehle pucho toh ki ye baat sahi hai. I will never accept it, aur kisi ka himmat hai toh mere samne aake pucho. Kisi ne afwaah uda diya toh aap haan me haan mila rahe ho, that is not right. Agar hoga toh I will be the first one to come in the media and speak about it. But I have belief ki mera ghar kabhi bhagwan nahi todega” (Rumour, rumour, rumour. First ask whether it’s even true. I will never accept it, and if anyone has the courage, they should ask me directly. Just because someone spreads a rumour, you start agreeing with it – that’s not right. I truly believe that God will never break my home.”)

Sunita Ahuja On Mother’s Day
When asked about the occasion of Mother’s Day and women empowerment, She explained, “ek aurat ko apne liye 4 din nikaal ke akele bahr jana bahaut zaruri hota hai. Aj 12 saal se mai apne birthday me akele chali jaati hu kyuki mughe apne aapko waqt dena hai. Mai akele baithke nature se baat karti hu.” (It’s very important for a woman to take out a few days just for herself. For the past 12 years, I’ve spent my birthday alone because I need to give time to myself. I sit alone and connect with nature.)
Sunita On Govinda And His Mother Bonding
In a touching moment, Sunita praised Govinda’s devotion to his late mother. ” Govinda ne apni maa ka jo seva kiya hai. Chi Chi tu pati se acha beta hai. Agle janam me tu meri kokh se paida hona, tere jesa beta ho toh maza ajaye” (The way Govinda served his mother- Chi Chi, you’re a better son than a husband.
