Sunny Deol is all set for his next movie Jaat which is releasing on April 10. After his big hit Gadar 2, fans are excited to see him back in action. But what has truly grabbed fans attention is his role as Lord Hanuman in the upcoming mythological film Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra.
While speaking to Pinkvilla Deol shared details of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana and how they are preparing. Talking about the shooting. He said “An actor’s job is to perform and be excited with the character. As an actor, you have to believe the director. The technology has come up so well now that it makes you believe.”
He added, “I remember being taken aback by Superman. Now, the technology in India is getting better. The ‘Chal Jayega’ matter has reduced, and we are all aiming for perfection.”

He also admitted that portraying Hanuman ji won’t be easy “We are actors and doing our best. To play Hanuman ji is going to be difficult in a way because one doesn’t want to do anything wrong.”
After the backlash Adipurush faced for poor VFX and bad dialogues, the team is being very careful. Sunny said the producer, Namit Malhotra, is perfect for this film. He further said “I am very excited about Ramayana because Namit (Malhotra, DNEG) is doing it, and he is at the moment holding special effect companies all over the world. He is doing a great job and is the right person to make Ramayana. He wants to make it (the film) believable because he believes in the story. I have known him for years, and I think he got the right film to do so.”
Ramayana is set to release around Diwali in 2026 and will be made in two parts. It also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi alongside Sunny Deol.
