Days after actor Srikanth’s arrest in a narcotics case, another name has emerged from the Tamil film industry actor Krishna, who is reportedly absconding. His name has also been found to be linked to the same case.
According to police sources, Krishna’s name came up during the interrogation of detained drug suppliers Prasad and Prashanth. Investigating officials allege that both Krishna and Srikanth consumed cocaine at some parties in Chennai. These revelations have been mentioned in Prashanth’s confessional statement, giving the case a new twist.
At present, Krishna’s mobile phone is switched off and a special five-member team has been deployed to trace him. Krishna, who has worked in films ‘Veera’, ‘Kalari’, ‘Maari 2’ and ‘Kazhugu 2’, is the son of producer K.K. Shekhar (Pattiyal Shekhar) and brother of acclaimed filmmaker Vishnuvardhan.
