New Delhi: Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra feature in the comedy film Thank God is released at the theatres on October 25. The film clashed with Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu at the box office. While both Bollywood movies will compete to earn more money in the future, Ram Setu has the advantage on opening day. Thank God generated a respectable first-day total, but if it wants to surpass Ram Setu, the revenues must increase.
Box Office Collection
The target audience for Sidharth and Ajay Devgn’s movie is families. Thanks to the comedy subgenre, which is always a guaranteed thing at the box office, Thank God has made double digits on Day 1. Early trade estimates indicate that the film’s opening weekend took in close to Rs 10 crore. Given that it went up against a different movie starring a significant Bollywood celebrity, this is a respectable box office haul. Despite unfavourable reviews, Thank God was able to draw viewers in on Day 1 and gain from the Diwali celebrations.
Ram Setu vs. Thank God
Ram Setu holds a commanding advantage over Thank God based on Day 1 collection. Both films had witnessed low advance bookings but the crowd grew in the evening shows, and the business grew. Although Akshay’s fame will draw viewers, Thank God’s comedy genre is its greatest asset because it will draw a family audience. It will be profitable for the industry even if neither of the movies does well at the box office. There aren’t any major releases scheduled for the near future, so Ram Setu and Thank God will compete head-to-head.

Actor Sidharth Malhotra, who plays the lead character, described Thank God as a pleasant comedy with a social message at its core. Indra Kumar, who is known for the comedy Dhamaal and Ishq, is in charge of directing it.
In the film, Sidharth plays a conceited guy who, following an accident, ends up in “Yamlok,” where Chitragupta, portrayed by Ajay Devgn, offers him a second chance at life in exchange for participating in a game.
