Rohit Shetty worked with Shah Rukh Khan on two movies, Chennai Express and Dilwale. Chennai Express was a big hit at the box office, but Dilwale didn’t do well with the audience or critics. After that, there were rumours that the two had a fight. But recently, in a chat with Komal Nahta on his Game Changers podcast, Rohit said that the rumours aren’t true and there is no problem between them.
Addressing the rumours if Dilwale debacle impacted their relationship, Rohit said, “Nahi aisa kuch nahi (There’s nothing like that).”
Rohit Shetty Clears the Air on His Bond with Shah Rukh Khan After Dilwale
During the podcast, Rohit Shetty cleared the Air about his bond with Shah Rukh Khan by saying that, “Ek respect hai humare beech me aur Dilwale ke baad ye hua ki immediately phir humne humare khud ki production house kholi. Humne decide kiya ki hum khud ki filmein banayenge. Agar loss bhi ho to humara ho, jabki loss nahi hua tha. (We have mutual respect. We started our own production house after Dilwale. We decided to make our own films so that if we face a loss, it is on us. However, we did not face a loss in Dilwale).”

Rohit Talks About Dilwale’s Overseas Success and SRK’s Upcoming Film
Rohit Shetty said that Dilwale did really well overseas. The movie was produced by Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan under their banner, Red Chillies Entertainment. Dilwale was released on December 19, 2015, and came out at the same time as Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period film Bajirao Mastani, which starred Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Priyanka Chopra.
Talking about what’s next, Shah Rukh Khan is now getting ready for his upcoming film King. The movie is directed by Siddharth Anand and will star Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan in lead roles.
