Shefali Jariwala death has become a subject of utter despair amongst the fans of the famous ‘Kaata Laga’ song. The lead actress of the song Shefali Jariwala tragically passed away after suffering from a heart attack on June 27, 2025, at the age of 42.
Her funeral took place the following day, on Saturday, June 28, with several celebrities from television and film in attendance. However, the absence of her ex-husband Harmeet Singh drew attention.
Harmeet Singh, who was once married to Shefali Jariwala and is part of the popular musical duo Meet Brothers, has now broken his silence on missing her last rites. Sharing a heartfelt message on Instagram, he explained his absence, “Being away in Europe right now, it’s painful for me not to be able to be there for the last rites.”
He also offered his condolences to Shefali’s family, “Gone far too soon. I pray to the Almighty for her soul to rest in peace, and strength to the family during this unimaginable time.”

Shefali And Harmeet’s Relationship
Shefali and Harmeet Singh got married in 2004 after dating for a while, but their relationship did not last long. After this, Shefali started dating actor Parag Tyagi for four years and both got married in 2014.
Shefali and Parag had built a strong bond over time and were one of television’s most admired couples.
