Indian Billionaire Businessman Gautam Adani arrived at the Bhubaneshwar Airport around 11 am today (June 28, 2025). He is on the way to Puri to attend the grand chariot festival of Lord Jagannath, the Rath Yatra. The Adani Group has started ‘Prasad Seva’ with the resolve to provide hygienic and nutritious food to lakhs of devotees visiting the holy town.
On Friday, Gautam Adani wrote on X, “Being associated as a servant in this holy land of Puri is a matter of immense pride and satisfaction for me and the entire Adani family. I pray that the grace of Lord Shri Jagannath Ji remains upon us all forever. Serving humanity is serving the Divine, and service itself is spiritual practice.” Under the initiative, stalls have been set up to provide drinking water and juice to the devotees and volunteers free of cost till July 8, 2025.

The Grand Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath commenced in Puri on Friday, June 27, 2025. On the auspicious occasion, nearly 4 million meals and drinks are being distributed free of cost. The Adani Group has set up designated food and beverage counters across the holy town, offering nutritious meals and cool drinks to beat the ongoing heat. This year’s aid includes support for lifeguards, free T-shirts to volunteers, fluorescent safety vests for workers, jackets, and caps for pilgrims. The seva effort is a collaboration between the Puri district administration, Adani Group, local volunteer organisations, and ISKCON.
