Traffic changes in Bengaluru will occur from February 10 to 14 between 5 AM and 10 PM due to the air show. Here is what you need to know:

Road Restrictions:

Avoid Ballari Road if you are going to Kempegowda International Airport (KIA).

Private buses and trucks cannot use Ballari Road between Mehkri Circle and MVT Cross.

Traffic is only allowed one-way on Bagalur Main Road, Reva College Road, and Nitte Meenakshi College Road.

Alternative Routes:

From Mysuru Road And North Bengaluru: BEL Circle → MS Palya → Munikrishna Junction → Rajanakunte → MVT Cross on Ballari Road.

East Bengaluru: Go KR Puram → Hennur Cross → Kothanur → Bagalur → South West gate at Begur → Airport. It is thoughtful of them to provide alternative routes, although they will have to restrict heavy vehicles.

Heavy vehicles such as lorries, trucks, private buses, and others cannot use the following routes:

The section from Mekhri Circle to MVIT Cross on Ballari Road.
The section from Goraguntepalya along Hebbal to Hennur Cross.
The section from Nagawara Junction to Reva College Junction.
The section from Hesaraghatta and Chikkabanavara towards Bengaluru.

One-way Traffic:

Nitte Meenakshi College Road: One-way traffic from east to west.

Bagalur Main Road: One-way traffic from west to east.

Parking:

Free Parking: Free parking is available at the GKVK campus.

Paid Parking: You can park at ADVA (enter via Gates 8 and 9) or at Domestic Parking (enter via Gate No. 5).

Alternative Routes To Parking:

From Bengaluru East To ADVA Parking: KR Pura → Nagwara Junction → Left at Thanisandra → Narayanpura Cross → Telecom Layout → Right at Jakkur Cross → Yelahanka Bypass → Palanahalli Gate service road → Left at the Ford showroom → Meenakshi College Road.

Approach To Domestic Parking From Bengaluru East: KR Puram → Hennur Cross → Kothanur → Gubbi Cross → Kannur → Bagalur Layout → Rajak Palya → Vidyanagar Cross → Hunasamaranahalli.

Approach To ADVA Parking From Bengaluru West: Goraguntepalya → BEL Circle → Gangamma Circle → MS Palya Circle → Unnikrishnan Road → Mother Dairy Junction → Left at Unnikrishnan Junction → Doddaballapura Road → Right at Nagenahalli Gate → Harohalli → Right at Gantaganahalli Circle.

Approach To Domestic Parking From Bengaluru West: Goraguntepalya → BEL Circle → Gangamma Circle → MS Palya Circle → Unnikrishnan Road → Mother Dairy Junction → Left at Unnikrishnan Junction → Doddaballapura Road → Right at Rajanukunte → Adviganahalli → Thimmasandra → MVIT Cross → U-turn at Vidyanagar Cross → Hunasamaranahalli.

Approach To Domestic Parking From Bengaluru South: Mysore Road → Nayandanahalli → Chandra Layout → Goraguntepalya → BEL Circle → Gangamma Circle → MS Palya Circle → Mother Dairy → Left at Unnikrishnan Junction → Doddaballapura Road → Right at Rajanukunte → Addiganahalli → MVIT Cross → U-turn at Vidyanagar Cross → Hunasamaranahalli.

Alternative Routes To The Airport:

From Bengaluru East: KR Puram → Hennur Cross → Kothanur → Gubbi Cross → Kannur → Bagalur → Mylanahalli → Begur → South West Entrance.

From Bengaluru West: Goraguntepalya → BEL Circle → Gangamma Circle → MS Palya Circle → Mother Dairy → Left at Unnikrishnan Junction → Doddaballapura Road → Rajanukunte → Addiganahalli → Thimmasandra → MVIT Cross → Vidyanagar Cross.

Key Points For Visitors:

For the last two days of the air show, please ensure that your pass is scanned with a QR code at the entrance. Private vehicle visitors should park at Gandhi Krishi Vidya Kendra (GKVK) and take the shuttle to the Air Display Viewing Area (ADVA). Please plan your travel in advance to avoid unnecessary hassle.
