After 50 RG Kar Medics, 60 Doctors From Calcutta Medical College Resign in Protest Over Kolkata Rape-Murder

Junior doctors from multiple institutions, including RG Kar and Coochbehar Medical Colleges, have been on hunger strike for several consecutive days

In a significant development, over 60 doctors from Kolkata’s Calcutta Medical College resigned on Wednesday, following the resignation of 50 senior doctors from RG Kar Medical College the day before. This mass resignation is in support of junior doctors who have been protesting the alleged rape and murder of a female doctor in August.
