Arunachal Pradesh: Both the onboard pilots died in the Army helicopter crash in Arunachal Pradesh, said Bomdila Superintendent of police BR Bomareddy.

According to media reports, the Cheetah helicopter of the Indian Army lost contact with the Air traffic Controller (ATC) at around 9:15 am and crashed thereafter near Mandala, West of Bomdila of Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday.

Search parties had initiated the operation and found the bodies of two onboard pilots around 4 pm. 

Indian Army identified both of them as Lt Col VVB Reddy and Maj Jayant A.

 Bodies of both soldiers have been shifted to a nearby hospital, said officials.The army has ordered an inquiry.
