Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway: Good News For Commuters! 71-km Stretch To Be Completed Soon – Details Inside

This expressway is beneficial for the commuters using the route. It will reduce travel time. The stretch will make the travel more comfortable.  

The 71-km stretch of 260-km long Bengaluru-Chennai expressway passing through Karnataka will get completed by end of this month. A temple, due to which the work on this expressway got delayed, has been shifted. The work is now in progress to complete the remaining work of 400-metre of road, said Vilas P Brahmankar, NHAI Bengaluru regional officer, as reported by Indian Express.

According to him temple which is near Hoskote due to which the work got delayed. Now the work of the expressway has resumed as the temple got moved. The total length of the expressway is 260-km.

According to Vilas P Brahmankar, the entire work of expressway has completed except only 400-metres work still under process.

Project Accomplished In Three Stages

The expressway came till final stage in by passing through three different stages. Under the phase 1 it covered the 27.1-km portion of it which started from Hoskote to Malur. In the second phase it covers 27.1-km from Malur to Bangarpet. The third phase includes 17.5-km from Bangarpet to Bethamangala. As per reports the work on the 71-km long stretch will get completed by the end of the month.

The project was earlier planned to get completed by the end of 2024. But due to the delay the expected completion of project shifted to year 2025.

The reports of project getting completed by end of this month is a major milestone.
