In a shocking incident, a woman was allegedly gang-raped by four men in Karnataka’s Bengaluru. The incident took place in the Koramangala area on February 20.
According to a report published in Hindustan Times, the accused approached the woman when she was waiting at Jyothi Nivas College junction. The accused reportedly started a conversation and befriended her. The 33-year-old woman works for a catering service.
The woman stated in her police complaint that after befriending her, they invited her for dinner at a hotel.
The police officials said that the men raped her on the hotel’s terrace after having dinner with the victim. The accused threatened the woman with dire consequences if she revealed the matter to anyone.
After the accused dumped her on February 21 in the morning, the woman reached home and narrated her ordeal to her husband.
The police said the accused are employed with different hotels. The police officials nabbed three accused and are trying to arrest one absconding accused.
