Commercial LPG Price Surge By Rs 101.5 Effective November 1, Check New Rates HERE

These changes in LPG prices have left commercial consumers with increased costs, while domestic users can continue to enjoy same prices.

On the occasion of Karva Chauth, the price of LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) saw a significant increase, leaving consumers with mixed reactions. Commercial users faced a substantial hike of over Rs 101.50 per 19-kilogram cylinder, causing concern among businesses, while domestic users received some respite as the price for 14.2-kilogram cylinders remained unchanged.

This price hike represents an additional burden for commercial users, with Delhi experiencing an increase of approximately Rs 310 in just 32 days. Kolkata and Chennai also faced substantial increases of Rs 307 and Rs 304.50, respectively, within a month. Mumbai witnessed a total increase of Rs 303.50 during the same period.

For domestic users, there’s some good news, as the price for 14.2-kilogram cylinders remains stable, maintaining the rates set on August 30th. In Delhi, it’s available for Rs 903, in Kolkata for Rs 929, in Mumbai for Rs 902.50, and in Chennai for Rs 918.50.

These changes in LPG prices have left commercial consumers with increased costs, while domestic users can continue to enjoy their gas at the same prices as a couple of months ago, providing them with much-needed relief.

Responding to the price surge, Rakesh Chaudhary, a restaurant owner in the national capital said that the cylinder is getting costlier with the each passing month which has made it difficult for us to survive and hardly make any profit. “If we surge the price of the dishes then the customers start to rush to the other places who are using the low quality food materials just to keep prices the same even after the LPG price surge,” he added.
