Covid-19 Update: For the last several days, a steady rise is being recorded in Covid-19 cases in the country. Once again surge in Covid cases witnesses in India.  In the last 24 hours, more than 300 cases of Covid have been reported in the country. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday, more than 300 new cases of covid-19 have been reported in India after 97 days.

Earlier, Covid-19 had also reached the verge of ending in the country. But amid the change in the weather, once again the cases of Covid have started increasing in the country. For the last four days, more than 200 cases of corona are being reported in the country.

334 new cases of corona came in 24 hours

For the last few days, once again a slight increase in the cases of Corona is being seen in the country. As compared to yesterday, even today, a slight increase was recorded in the daily cases of corona in the country. Today 334 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. At the same time, there has been news of death of 3 people due to corona infection. In the last 24 hours, two deaths were recorded in Maharashtra and one in Kerala. Earlier on Friday, 283 new cases of corona had come in the country on Friday, while no death was reported during that time. That is, today 51 more new cases of corona have been reported in the country as compared to yesterday.

Covid on rise in India again

According to the data released by the Ministry of Health this morning (4 March 2023), 334 new cases of corona infection were reported in the country in the last 24 hours. During this, three people have also died due to corona infection. While during this period 170 people were able to beat the corona virus infection, that is, they became healthy. With this, the number of active cases of corona has increased to 2686 in the country. In this way, a rise of 161 has been registered in the number of active cases in the last 24 hours.

The number of corona infected in the country is 4,46,87, 496

With this, the total number of corona infected in the country has increased to 4 crore 46 lakh 87 thousand 496. While the number of people getting cured has increased to a total of 4 crore 41 lakh 54 thousand 035. At the same time, a total of 5 lakh 30 thousand 775 people have died due to corona virus infection in the country.

  • Total infected so far – 4 crore 46 lakh 87 thousand 496
  • Total discharge so far – 4 crore 41 lakh 54 thousand 035
  • Total deaths so far – 5 lakh 30 thousand 775

According to the information given by the Union Health Ministry, the number of people recovering from corona is increasing continuously. Now the recovery rate in the country has increased to 98.81 percent. While the death rate remains at 1.19 percent. Whereas active cases comprise 0.01 per cent of the total infections. According to the information available on the Ministry’s website, about 220.63 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.
