Meanwhile, Hindu Mahasabha President Swami Chakrapani made a controversial comment over the ongoing issue. According to the news agency ANI, Swami Chakrapani said, “Even before the people of Jihadi mentality reach the moon, the moon should be declared a Hindu nation and Shivshakti Point should be made the capital of the Hindu nation.”

We are considering ‘Shiv-Shakti’ as Shiv-Shakti Dham. I am sending a letter for the same to the government on behalf of Hindu Mahasabha and Sant Mahasabha, he said further.

Swami Chakrapani said that they have passed a resolution to build a temple of Lord Shiva, goddess Parvati, and Lord Ganesha at the point when commuting to the moon becomes easier. The priest also demanded to declare Shiv-Shakti Point as the capital of Hindu Rashtra on the moon.

Earlier on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the Chandrayaan-3 landing point would be known as ‘Shiv-Shakti’, while the place where Chandrayaan-2 landed unsuccessfully would be known as Tiranga Point.

PM Modi also declared August 23 as National Space Day.

India scripted history after its space shuttle Chandrayaan-3 landed successfully on the Moon’s South Pole on August 23. Since then, the space organization has been sharing the details about the mission every day.
