The government of Delhi has announced five dry days for the first quarter of the financial year 2025-26 in order to keep liquor shops closed on important religious occasions such as Ram Navami and Good Friday. These Days Will Be Dry Days in Delhi According to a recent order issued by the excise department of the city government, liquor stores in the national capital will remain closed on:
– Ram Navami (April 6)
– Mahavir Jayanti (April 10)
– Good Friday (April 18)
– Buddha Purnima (May 12)
– Eid-ul-Zuha (June 6)

“Due to the reasons mentioned above, dry days for liquor license holders have been declared in accordance with the provisions of Rule 52 of the Delhi Excise Rules, 2010,” stated Excise Commissioner Sunny Singh in the order. “License holders have also been directed to post this order at an identified location in premises licensed to them.”
