Shot A Video In Rajasthan’s Thar Desert Showing Border Area
Jyoti Malhotra, who was arrested on charges of spying, conducted a recce of the Thar Desert in Rajasthan’s Barmer district. It has come to light that about a year ago, she captured a video of the border and talked to the local villagers about Pakistan. It is also alleged that she filmed this video and later shared information about the deployment in the border areas.
Standing on the border line in the Thar Desert, she had explained how an entry could be gained into the village after crossing the wired border. Pieces of information, such as “There are no houses near the border except a few kutcha houses,” were given through the video. This clip could have proved useful for any spy or infiltrator to enter the country through the desert. Meanwhile, investigative agencies are reviewing the pattern of all the videos recorded and posted by Jyoti Malhotra, which shows the deployment of our borders.
