Farooq Abdullah Calls For Fair Probe Into Adani Allegations And JK Corruption

When questioned about reports of bribes allegedly offered to Jammu and Kashmir officials by the Adani Group between 2021 and 2023, Abdullah asserted that these claims should also be investigated thoroughly. He referenced a senior official of Jammu and Kashmir regarding a significant scam in the Jal Shakti Department amounting to ₹3,000 crore.

Former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah emphasized the need for a thorough investigation into the allegations surrounding the Adani Group, particularly in light of demands for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) inquiry. Abdullah expressed confidence that the Central Government would take these concerns seriously and ensure a proper inquiry into the matter.
