A few days after the arrest of Indore’s Sonam for allegedly killing her husband in their honeymoon destination of Shillong, a newly married bride in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh threatened to stab her husband with a knife on their wedding night. She told him not to touch her, or he would be found in 35 pieces.
A couple was recently married, and by all reports, everything was fine during the ceremony. But on their wedding night all that changed.
When the groom turned to the bride and attempted to be intimate, the bride pulled out a knife labeled, “If you touch me, your body will be cut in 35 pieces.”
When asked what her behavior was about, she told the family that she was in love with someone else – her nephew, a man named Aman.
The groom’s family states she started sleep with a knife next to everywhere she went, causing tension in the whole house. She reportedly made threats against the groom and his family, claiming if they said anything about what she had done, she would file a false case against the whole family.
She also demanded to go away with her lover, who she was still in contact with after marriage.
A few days later, she scaled the boundary wall of the house and eloped with Aman. The groom’s family has lodged a police complaint, and the matter is under investigation.
The incident has gone viral on social media, reminiscent of the shocking Raja Raghuvanshi murder case that left many stunned in Madhya Pradesh.
