The Greater Noida Authority Board has approved the proposal for the construction of an elevated road starting from Sector 4 through Shahberi before reaching NH-24. The elevated road aims to alleviate traffic congestion for approximately one million people. Construction activities on Shahberi route will begin soon, as reported by Junaid Akhtar.
Population Of Greater Noida West To Reach 2 Million In 10 years
The populations living in Greater Noida West area continue to experience swift expansion. The upcoming decade will witness the population grow from 15 to 20 lakh. As the Noida Airport opens for business the traffic demands will rise substantially. Plans exist to establish elevated roads that will extend from Murti Chowk to NH-24 considering the growing population. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has established its agreement and simultaneously expressed its willingness to collaborate in this construction project.

400 Crore Rupees To Be Spent On Shahberi Elevated Road
Following approval the Detailed Project Report (DPR) will be developed by N.G. Ravi Kumar as CEO of Greater Noida Authority. The following procedures will begin after this step. The construction of Shahberi Elevated Road expected to require monetary expenses amounting to 400 crore rupees.
Benefit To 1 Million people
The elevated road construction project serves people who need to travel between Greater Noida, Greater Noida West, Noida and Ghaziabad as well as the Noida Airport. The construction development will assist one million people with their commuting needs. The transportation costs for this road will be distributed between Noida and Greater Noida Authorities together with YEIDA and Ghaziabad Authorities when viewing the road as a regional connectivity facility.
