The people living in the Greater Noida West area are doubling in numbers at a fast pace. The completion of ongoing builder projects will bring numerous residents to settle down in this place. The population is projected to reach more than 20 lakh within the next ten years, as reported by Hindustan. The start of Noida International Airport will lead to additional traffic pressures. The residents of Greater Noida West continue to face traffic congestion problems today.
About The Project
The authority decided to construct an elevated roadway from Ek Murti Chowk to NH-24 that will move through Shahberi. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) granted permission to the authority for this work according to the authority official. Receiving full cooperation for construction is also confirmed by NHAI. The Authority Board will grant permission before moving forward with detailed project report (DPR) preparation. The construction estimate for this project is set at Rs 400 crore.
The board meeting held by the Noida Authority on Friday approved the project proposal for constructing an elevated road on Yamuna Post. The road will link Noida-Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway starting from Sector-150. Noida Authority plans to build the elevated road alongside Yamuna Dam Road to provide a substitute route to the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. Development of this road will commence at Sector 94 until it reaches Sector 150 next to MP 3 Marg.
About Survey
Once this route becomes operational, it will bring relief to the commuters travelling between Ghaziabad, Noida, and Greater Noida. All development authorities of Noida, Greater Noida, Yamuna, and Ghaziabad will jointly fund this project’s cost. The four-kilometer, four-lane elevated road project will be completed according to Project AK Singh, who serves as the General Manager at Authority. A budgetary request of one and a half crore rupees has been put forth to survey along with the DPR preparation.
