The Yamuna Authority is making efforts to enhance public transport within the Yamuna area. Reportedly, YEIDA has facilitated travel for 1 million people in Greater Noida to Noida Airport by introducing a bus service from Pari Chowk to the airport. This will improve connectivity between Jewar Airport and Greater Noida but also spur regional growth. Future plans are in place to launch an electric bus service from Delhi to Noida Airport.
Effortless Travel For 42 Kilometers
The state’s road transport department has identified three new bus routes in the area of the Yamuna Authority. The main route goes from Jewar Airport to Pari Chowk in Greater Noida, a distance of 42 kilometers. This route will primarily benefit residents in the vicinity and travelers arriving at Jewar Airport. A limited bus service has been providing service between Jewar Airport and Pari Chowk since 2023; now this service is expanding and being formally organized. This will facilitate easy travel to the Noida Airport.
Bus Services Expanded In Bhangel
The Uttar Pradesh road transport department has also determined two additional routes to provide bus services in the YEIDA area. One bus route will run from the Botanical Garden, passing through Noida sectors 20 and 21, and ending at Kulesara and Bhangel. The second bus route will run from the Yamuna Authority regional office, via Dankaur Golchakkar and Sector 17 to Bhangel, and is 51 kilometers long.
These bus routes will serve the residents of Rabupura, Noida sectors 17, 20, 21, and 26, students of Gautam Buddha University, and those travelling to Pari Chowk, the District Magistrate’s office, Jagat Farm, Surajpur, Kulesara, and the villages of Bhangel.
Electric Bus Service From Delhi To Airport Proposed
The area of Yamuna Authority is quickly growing with the development of both industrial units and residential projects. This growth has led to an increase in demand for public transport. In response, on the instructions of CM Yogi, a bus service is being compiled from Jewar Airport to Pari Chowk Greater Noida.
There are plans for an electric bus service from Delhi to Noida Airport in the future. Additionally, there will be two other bus routes providing further transport for the area residents. The development of transport facilities to the Yamuna Development Authority area is a remarkable thought and will be a big part of the full growth of the area.
