The Greater Noida Authority maintains its firm approach toward Ajnara Homes Society in Sector 16B of Greater Noida West. The authority decided to punish Ajnara Homes Society with a monetary fine of ₹2.01 lakh. The authority took the action because of unsuitable waste management practices.
Water Department Slaps ₹25 Lakh Fine Over Uncleaned Water Tanks
The Water Department of the Authority levied a ₹25 lakh fine towards the society on Tuesday for failing to properly clean their water tanks. A substantial garbage accumulation exists in the lower level of the building structure.
Public Health Department Inspects Society After Complaints
Staff members of the Public Health Department at Greater Noida Authority inspected waste disposal practices at Ajnara Homes Society in response to resident complaints from the society on Wednesday. Senior Health Manager Sunny Yadav directed that a significant accumulation of garbage was discovered inside the society’s lower level.
Violation of Waste Disposal Norms
Ajnara Homes failed to handle waste disposal in a proper manner according to the findings. The society failed to process both sanitary waste and regular waste. The health department imposed a fines totaling on Wednesday ₹2.01 lakh on the society as a consequence of their monitoring. The authority requires the society to pay the penalty amount before the end of three working days.
Authority Issues Warning to Other Bulk Waste Generators
The authority delivered the warning while requesting general participation from the community. OSD of the Authority Abhishek Pathak warned all bulk waste generators to properly dispose of their waste to avoid severe punishment. Shrilakshmi V.S., Greater Noida Authority’s ACEO, made an appeal to waste generators and all residents to support cleanliness in Greater Noida through proper waste management.
₹25 Lakh Fine Imposed
During a Wednesday water quality check the Water Department team from the Authority detected uncleaned water tanks and imposed a ₹25 lakh penalty on the society.
