Amit Srivastava, the lawyer representing the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) stated  “The survey report is expected to be submitted before the district court on Monday”. According to Amit Srivastava, the ASI’s lawyer, the organization is in the process of cross-checking, correlating, and compiling the findings of experts and specialists. Srivastava mentioned that the completion and preparation of the report would require additional time.

Akhlaque Ahmad, the lawyer representing the Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee that manages the mosque, objected to the ASI’s plea, arguing that it was repeatedly seeking time without providing any concrete reason. Ahmad requested the dismissal of the application.
