Madhya Pradesh: In a shocking incident reported from Indore, a third-year BSc student allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the third floor of his college building. The incident reportedly took place on Saturday within the Dwarkapuri police station limits. While speaking to the media yesterday, Additional DCP Zone 4, Anand Yadav, said that the student, identified as Mayur Rajput, posted a social media status before taking the extreme step.

The student, believed to be 19 to 20 years old, had expressed his feelings in his final post. He wrote, “Neither could I become a good student nor a good son.” The Additional DCP said, “Right now, we are investigating the reason. So far, it has been found that he had posted something on his social media status in which he had written that neither could I become a good student nor a good son. He has done something like this in his mental state. We are investigating the rest.”

The Inspector further added that an investigation is underway to ascertain the reason behind his drastic step. Meanwhile, the police have informed his family members, and talks are on with them.
Students Spot Him Fall On The Ground
The victim attended an event on his college campus on Saturday. He stayed there for a while and was spotted taking a walk toward the rooftop of the building thereafter, TOI cited Dwarkapuri TI Rahul Rajput as saying. Reports suggest that a few students saw him fall on the ground, after which they immediately alerted the college administration.
