Jammu-Kashmir: THIRD Attack In A Week! Migrant Labourer Shot At By Terrorists In Tral Area

Jammu-Kashmir: In another attack on non-locals, a migrant labourer was shot by terrorists on Thursday morning in the Tral area of Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir. Shubham Kumar who hails from Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh was shot in the arm by terrorists at Batagund village.

According to Officials, Kumar was immediately rushed to a hospital for treatment. There is no cartridge reportedly found either inside or outside the incident spot.

CRPF team has been deployed in the area. Further details on the attack are awaited.

This marks the third attack in Kashmir on non-local labourers in the past week. A labourer hailing from Bihar was shot dead in J&K’s Shopian district on October 18 by the terrorists. In a separate attack on Sunday evening, seven individuals were killed, including a doctor from Budgam and five non-local labourers.

According to the officials, the terror attack occurred at a camp primarily housing labourers and staff working on the Z-Morh tunnel project. Terrorists opened fire indiscriminately, leaving two laborers dead at the scene, while five others succumbed to their injuries later. Among the killed workers were a doctor, mechanical in charge, safety in charge, planning department, etc. The workers were believed to be having food in the mess when two terrorists barged in and fired on the staff indiscriminately.

One of the two attackers who carried the deadly attack has been captured in CCTV footage. In the pictures circulating online, the attacker can be seen holding AK series rifle with blue tag.
