Bhopal: In a tragic incident in Madhya Pradesh, a 23-year-old suddenly collapsed and passed away while dancing at her cousin sister’s wedding function in Vidisha. The woman, identified as Parinita Jain, who hails from MP’s Indore city died due to cardiac arrest, according to reports. The unfortunate incident reportedly occurred during the ‘Haldi’ function on Saturday night. Around 200 guests were present at the venue while she danced to the popular Bollywood track ‘Lehra Ke Barkha Ke’.

A viral video circulating on social media captured the moment when she suddenly collapsed on the stage while dancing. Immediately after she fell, family members who were present at the spot tried to revive her through CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). She was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead. As per reports, Parinita was a MBA graduate who resided with her parents in South Tukoganj, Indore.
In a similar incident that took place in November last year, a groom in his early 20s tragically collapsed and died due to heart attack just a day before his wedding in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. The man identified as Shivam Kumar was dancing at his ‘Bhaat’ function held in his home when he fell to the ground. The doctors declared him dead upon arrival at the hospital, reports added.
The recent tragedy highlights the growing incidents of cardiac arrests during festive activities across India. A 15-year-old boy died due to heart attack while he was playing cricket in Agar-Malwa district in Madhya Pradesh. Similarly, a 73-year-old man suffered a cardiac arrest while dancing at a yoga event in Indore city. Such incidents highlights an alarming trend of sudden heart attacks in recent days.
