Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis took a jibe at Shiv Sena (UBT) supremo Uddhav Thackeray, saying he is not his predecessor to stall ongoing projects.
The chief minister asserted that the previous Eknath Shinde-led Mahayuti government’s decisions were not his alone but taken in coordination.
Fadnavis was speaking on the motion thanking Governor C P Radhakrishnan for his address to the joint session of the state assembly.
The chief minister said that the previous Mahayuti government’s decisions were not alone of Eknath Shinde and were made in coordination with him and Ajit Pawar.
He asserted that the decisions made in the present government are taken in coordination with Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar.
Fadnavis said his government is working to fulfill the people’s dreams and aspirations. He said the government is working on the future course of action to develop the state.
On March 6, the chief minister spoke on the Marathi language row. Addressing the Assembly, Chief Minister Fadnavis strongly emphasized, “In Mumbai, Maharashtra, and the State government’s language is Marathi, and people who live here should learn it.”
“Marathi is a part of the state’s culture and identity, and it is the duty of every citizen to learn it,” the chief minister and BJP leader said.
