People traveling from Faridabad to Greater Noida will find significant news regarding the upcoming launch of the Manjhawali Bridge in March. As per media reports. the bridge will become operational during this time. Its implementation will benefit all travelers commuting between Faridabad and Greater Noida, making the connection between these two cities more seamless.
The Public Works Department is continuing its efforts to ensure the bridge’s commencement in March. This construction project aims to enhance accessibility between the Faridabad and Greater Noida areas.
The 24 km-long project remains under construction to improve travel and establish better road connectivity. The project has successfully completed the construction of a 630-meter-long bridge over the Yamuna River, located at Manjhawali village.
Efforts are underway to finalize all essential tasks before the bridge officially opens in March. A 20-kilometer road, along with a 4-kilometer extension, has been completed to link the bridge to Faridabad through the UP border. Construction work for the bridge’s expansion is currently ongoing. The total construction cost for this bridge amounts to Rs 122 crore.
The inauguration of the bridge in March will strengthen connections between the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and the Yamuna Expressway. Once operational, different sections of the Delhi-NCR region will experience reduced traffic congestion, significantly improving travel conditions for commuters.
