The train, capable of reaching speeds of up to 320 km/h, will link 12 stations, including Mumbai, Thane, Surat, and Ahmedabad. Construction on the project is progressing quickly, with over 336 km of pier foundations already completed, and 331 km of piers constructed.

Additionally, 260 km of girders have been cast, with 225 km already launched. One of the most innovative parts of the project is a 21-kilometer-long undersea tunnel, adding complexity and technological advancement to the project.
