The much awaited project of Uttar Pradesh, Noida International Airport is set to open to the public in April, 2025. This project will be a game changer for the residents of Noida and Greater Noida. Following the instruction of the Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh, a letter was issued to the CEO of YEIDA to widen the link roads around the Noida International Airport and the Domestic Airport.
The decision was made due to increasing vehicular pressure from Delhi-NCR as well as the nearby areas after this airport gets functional.
As quoted by Indian Express, the letter by the Police commissioner Laxmi Singh, the official statement of Noida Police states that, “The construction work of Noida International Airport at western Uttar Pradesh’s Jewar is going on at a rapid pace. The operation of the airport is proposed to be done in the near future. Once the operation at the airport begins, various passenger terminals and cargo terminals will operate at Noida International Airport, leading to the movement of additional numbers of people from the country and abroad.”
It also mentions that, “The pressure of vehicles is increasing on all the roads connecting Noida International Airport. It is very important to widen the roads connecting Noida International Airport to make traffic smooth and accessible for local residents as well as outsiders.”
